Apple Seals The Deal On PrimeSense 3D

Israeli company PrimeSense has sealed a $350 million dollar deal to be purchased by Apple. The company was responsible for Microsoft’s Kinect features but is no longer working with Microsoft on any projects. So looks like Apple is making some bold moves to land itself into some fresh technology. One news report said that Apple could be positioning itself to release its much rumored Apple TV with this tech. Watch the video below to see what PrimeSense is all about.

On Friday, the acquisition of Israeli gesture recognition company PrimeSense Ltd. by Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) was closed. The deal, which has not been formally announced, was made at a company value of $300-350 million, and follows lengthy negotiations by PrimeSense with several potential buyers.
