Sunday Morning Goodies For Sprint HTC One Owners

Good Super Bowl Sunday!

While playing with my Sprint branded HTC One this morning, I decided to check for updates just for S&Gs and low and behold:

Imagine my excitement!  I feel like I’ve been waiting for this since forever.

All I did was go to Settings > System Updates > HTC software update > check now.  This is being dubbed as a ‘customer requested update but be advised; since neither Sprint nor HTC have officially stated that this update is official, so it may not be available in all markets.  Clearly I happen to be in a fortunate market (^5).

Back in October, Mohammad Versi confirmed that Sprint would be the first US carrier to receive the update (our neighbors to the north started receiving the update this past week) but just last week HTC America president Jason Mackenzie pushed the date back by a week.  The KitKat brings some awesome updates and tweaks so enjoy guys!
