Spell Up is a new voice-powered game that can help improve your English. Using a combination of different web technologies, the Chrome browser will understand what you say and use it to control the game action. There’s nothing to download, and no need for any new plug-ins. Just speak to play! To build up your word tower, listen for the words and spell them aloud, pronounce them correctly, solve word jumbles, and guess mystery words by filling in the missing letters. Along the way, you can earn medals and coins that can be used to activate power-ups and add more levels to your tower, faster.

Spell up makes use of the following technologies.

  • Web Speech and Text-To-Speeh APIs

  • CSS3 and Canvas

  • Web Audio

  • Google Web Fonts

  • Google App Engine

  • Google Play Game Services

  • Google+ API

  • Google Cloud Storage

  • Google Translate API

  • Vibration API
