If you mention the name Stephen Hawking, most people would immediately get a mental image of a genius man solving all the mysteries of the universe from his wheelchair apparatus. Perhaps, you’ll be reminded of his recent John Oliver interview on HBO. He even got a shout out on The Avengers. This week, we got a preview for the upcoming movie The Theory of Everything which will give audiences a peek into the history of the man who is one of the most brilliant minds in all of history.
The film stars Eddie Redmayne as Hawking and Felicity Jones as his wife Jane. The screenplay is adapted from Jane’s book, Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen. The film will focus on the personal and scientific challenges and breakthroughs of Hawking’s life and highlight his struggles with ALS which has left him physically disabled while becoming one of the greatest scientists the world has ever known. Supporting cast include David Thewlis (Harry Potter: The Prisoner of Azkaban) , Charlie Cox, and Emily Watson. The Theory of Everything will be in theaters Nov. 7th, 2014.
