Official Video From Star Wars: Episode VII Will Make Your Geek Heart Explode!

|

If you had any doubts that Star Wars: Episode VII wasn’t in good hands with JJ Abrams and his Bad Robot productions, evidence this morning might change your mind. Zack Snyder and JJ have been going back and forth trying to see who can melt the Internet faster. This morning, an official video surfaced giving us an excellent view of the Millennium Falcon on the set of the sequel from Disney. As you can see from the footage, the Snyder/Abrams internet feud is giving us geeks something to freak out about long before we see an ounce of footage. In the video, we are welcomed by the familiar John Williams score and a panning shot of the Falcon. As the shot moves along under the ship along the hull, the music changes…

That’s right… on the bottom of the Millennium Falcon is a small nod to Gotham in the form of a small Batmobile that’s part of the ship!!!

Clearly, it’s the fans that are winning here with the ongoing Snyder/Abrams saga. Filming is underway for both Star Wars: Episode VII which is due out December of 2015 and also for Snyder’s Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice which is due in 2016.

May the force be with you… always.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering what happened the other day with the Batmobile on the set of the new Batman V. Superman set, here is the photo Snyder sent via Twitter. A clear message that justice has been served.
