Most of the country knows the dire straits the city of Detroit has been in for awhile now and one man shows just how dire the city’s problems are. He’s willing to trade his Detroit home located on the 19000 block of Laing Street on the east side. The house isn’t in the best of conditions, as a matter of fact, it’s been pretty much striped down to a shell. The home is a three bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, 2400 sq. ft. home which was on the market for $3,000 but recently dropped in price or trade of one iPhone 6 or one iPad.

The owner of the east Detroit home lives in Austria and purchased the home in 2010 for $41,000 and he currently owes $6,500 in back taxes as well. So for the price of an iPhone 6 or iPad someone could have themselves a piece of property at a very cheap price. The realtor handling the home has said there has been a lot of interest in the property and that they expect to close a deal soon. I’ve heard of some pretty crazy deals but this one has to take the cake but I guess I can understand wanting to get out from underneath a money pit.
