Gearing up for the holiday season Google is attempting to get some excitement fired up under its Google Nexus Player by offering buyers a $20 Google Play Store credit. That $20 would go a long way in buying a handful of games for your shiny new Google Nexus Player. The Nexus Player is a streaming video box designed to compete against Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV streaming boxes. The Nexus Player is more comparable to the Amazon Fire TV as you can play games on it and even order an optional full size game controller.
The $20 credit would effectively mean you would pay $79 for the Nexus Player which isn’t a horrible deal at all. The only caveat is you should probably research early reviews as they have been mixed with this device.
Good for one $20 Google Play credit with the purchase of a Nexus Player. Once you purchase Nexus Player, you’ll receive an email with the promo code after the product ships. Google Play credit is not reloadable and has no cash value. Offer expires on 12/31/2014. Google Play credit must be added to a Google Wallet account by January 31, 2015. Once added, credit must be used on Google Play by January 31, 2016. Some devices and subscriptions excluded. Offer good in USA and Canada only. Must be 13+ years old, US / CA resident, have Internet access, and have or activate a Google Wallet account.
