Blizzard’s Black Friday Sale Is Live

|

Blizzard is offering a large selection of it’s physical products for up to 50% off in some cases during its Black Friday sale. A lot of it appears to be their selection of books based on their games, including the hardback editions. World of Warcraft: Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects and Starcraft II – Devil’s Due, both hardcovers, are marked down from their original $26.00 market values to $13.00 and $15.60 respectively.

Aside from that hardcover Twilight of the Aspects, a lot of the books for World of Warcraft or even the standard Warcraft games are oddly absent from the sale. Conversely, almost every Starcraft book is available, most discounted to under $5.00. If you want a quick recommendation, Starcraft: Speed of Darkness is a legitimately good book, and not just for a game tie-in. Definitely worth the $4.19 it’s currently at, especially for someone into the lore of the games.

Some of Blizzards more interesting tie-ins, such as World of Warcraft and Diablo II poker sets are also on sale. The poker sets, marked down to $39.00 (World of Warcraft) and $45.50 (Diablo III) from their original $65.00 price tags, both include ” two decks of plastic playing cards, four sets of Vegas-style poker chips, and a case to keep everything together.” Each are themed to their respective games.

Sadly, games don’t seem to be included at all in the sale. As stated previously, it’s mostly just books and other random merchandise, but hey, now you can get that Alliance throw pillow or Diablo towel that you’ve always wanted at a steep discount.

The sale is today only and can be found at the source link below.
