That Thirty Pound Deathwing Statue You Always Wanted Is Now A Reality

Earlier today Blizzard, in conjunction with Sideshow Collectibles, announced a huge Deathwing statue to commemorate World of Warcraft’s 10th anniversary. Expected to ship sometime in late 2015 for anyone who orders it, this giant statue of the leader of the black dragonflight can be yours for a mere $599.99.
The gorgeous hand-painted statue measures 25.5″ high, 30″ wide, and 24″ long, and weighs in at a whopping 30 pounds. That’s roughly the weight of three-and-a-half newborn babies, for those keeping track at home. It showcases Deathwing’s gigantic wingspan and powerful claws as he sits atop a tower that is most likely a destroyed Stormwind structure.

Much like the gigantic Smaug statue that I detailed a few weeks ago, this is another piece of memorabilia I will never in a million years be able to afford, but it sure is pretty to look at and oogle over. Similarly, for the Blizzard faithful with deep wallets, there is also a $499 15.5″ statue of Jim Raynor, a $379 25″ Sarah Kerrigan piece, and a $349 21″ statue of Diablo himself available.
World of Warcraft’s in-game celebration of its 10th birthday officially ended back on January 6th, but that hasn’t stopped Blizzard from constantly getting their party on outside of the game with this Deathwing statue and other real-life loot and special sales.
