Rush Announces Dates For "R40 Live" Tour

Legendary rock band Rush has announced the North American tour dates for their upcoming “R40 Live” Tour. In collaboration with Live Nation, Rush will perform in 34 cities between the United States and Canada to celebrate 40 years with their current lineup.
Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart have been together since 1974. The threesome have not gone through a lineup change since, which is unheard of for a band with such longevity.
The progressive rockers have gain a massive following throughout their 4 decades together in the U.S. and their native Canada, not to mention their international success. The band’s 21st tour plans to be a special treat for the legions of fans that plan to be there for their 40th anniversary.

From 1974’s Rush to 2012’s Clockwork Angels, the hard rock trio boasts an impressive resume that includes 14 platinum albums, seven Grammy nominations and introductions into the Canadian Music and Rock ‘n’ Roll Halls of Fame.
Rush has accumulated this incredible amount of accolades and fanfare without any major TV time outside of a rare 2008 appearance on The Colbert Report.
