US Cellular was the first carrier to start offering presales for LG’s newest flagship, the LG G4. Those start on May 29th but T-Mobile has also started a presale, but starts tomorrow, Wednesday May 27th.
What you’ll be paying for the phone is $0 down (well qualified) and $24.99/month for 24 months (full retail is around $600). Any customer that orders the phone now will receive it before it does go on sale in stores on Wednesday, June 3rd. The phone will come in two colors, Metallic Gray or Genuine Brown Leather. As for any other colors or leather backs, that has not been mentioned and T-Mobile may start out with these two colors and add other options at a later date.
As an added bonus, those who pre-order the LG G4 will get a 128GB microSD card. There is a limited amount of these cards, so once you pre-order the phone, go to LG’s G4 promo site (site shows coming soon) to redeem your free microSD card. Keep in mind that online registrations must be completed by July 6th and posted for that day and received by July 13th. Do allow four to six weeks to receive the microSD card too.
Quick specs on the phone are:
- 5.5″ Quantum Display
- Snapdragon 808 chipset
- Hexa-core preocessor (dual-core 1.82GHz & quad-core 1.44GHz)
- 32GB internal storage, expandable to 128GB
- 3GB RAM
- 16MP RFC and 8MP FFC
T-Mobile is also conducting a tour to show off the LG G4 in select cities. Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Philadelphia and Seattle are some cities where the phone will be shown off. To see if your city is on the list, visit T-Mobile’s website.
