Xiaomi has now entered the western markets. France, Germany, the US, and UK. Xiaomi is one of the top manufacturers in China and the company behind the making of the Mi 4 and the Redmi 4. Xiaomi could have been in the US (and countries named before) much earlier, but patent infringements by Apple Inc. came into play. Continuing on, Xiaomi has launched their online store in the four aforementioned countries for consumers.

The official launch date for the Mi store was yesterday (June 1st) and today, June 2nd. Android Headlines states the online store has been operational for two weeks, but part of a beta trial run since the 19th of last month.

As of right now, the site is only offering accessories for phones. Those who were planning on buying a phone will not be able to. However, you are able to look at their phones. For the accessories you are able to purchase, those will be two power banks, one with a battery life of 5,000mAh and the other 10,400mAh. Prices for those are $9.99 and $13.99. With those prices, why not buy both or two of the same? Mi headphones are also available for $79.99 (“Crafted for true sound representation”). Last, the Mi Band is selling for $14.99. The Mi Band is a fitness tracker for those who have not heard about this neat little gadget.

Hugo Barra, Vice-President of Xiaomi has promised that more Mi products will come to the US and Europe over time. It may not be an exact date, but at least it’s some kind of hint that more of their products are coming out to the online store.
