The Script For Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 Got Chris Pratt Right In The Feels

The original Guardians of the Galaxy took the world by storm to become one of the highest grossing films of 2014. The film starring Chris Pratt, featured a rag-tag band of misfits who come together to save an alien world from complete destruction at the hands of an infinity stone. That’s right, one of the very gems that will become part of the two-part phase three culmination, The Avengers: Infinity War.

Pratt who has been on a global press tour for his upcoming summer blockbuster Jurassic World has spent his time not only talking about dinosaurs but fielding questions regarding the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy 2. While being mostly mum on the subject, not wanting to ruin what he equates to being the sense of Christmas morning, he’s hinted at just how epic the sequel will be.

That sequel will arrive on May 5, 2017 and James Gunn has been hard at work on the script, already finishing a first draft. In a few different interviews, Pratt told reporters that he knew some of the songs on the Awesome Mix 2. He also told one reporter that the movie pitch put tears in his eyes and that it was “so good.” He also said that Marvel felt the same way and had no comments on the script/pitch, saying it was “perfect.”

The movie is set to introduce Star Lord’s father, a man hinted upon in the first movie. Pratt told another reporter pretty much the same thing regarding Christmas morning but did say that it could be one of the greatest, if not the greatest, films of all time. We only have a little less than two more years for the sequel and between now and then, we should learn more in that time.

For those who want to see the full interview, we have it for you below and as always, keep it locked here for all your geek related news.
