Evan Blass is a very well known leaker (formerly known as @evleaks) of new consumer technology and we also know that some companies purposely leak information to him. Now he has his hands on a render of what could be the very first Blackberry Android and it’s not that bad looking.

From the looks of this render it looks like the device has a dual edge or curved display, much like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge but on both sides. The rumor has also been that Blackberry will have a full size keyboard under the display that will slide out. Blackberry is well known for their keyboards so it’s no surprise that they would want to include this. Evan has been one of the more reliable leakers on the scene but he also has inside connections. If this one proves to be true it’s looking pretty decent. Of course there is no word on what version of Android this will run and specs are being speculated on with some believing that this will be a mid-range phone.
It makes sense to start out with a midrange or low end phone and first feel out the market and see if this is even going to fly with users. At any rate, we’ll soon see how it fares as it’s scheduled to be released in a few months.
