Netflix Wants You To Meet The Staff In Latest Wet Hot American Summer Trailer

Fans of the 80’s, summer camps, and mega-collections of famous actors get ready, there’s only a few more weeks until the Netflix Original Series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp hits the streaming service. A prequel to the 2001 cult classic which took place on the last day of camp, First Day of Camp tells the story from the beginning from the small retreat up at Camp Firewood in Waterville, Maine.

Most of the original cast (which was chock-full of stars as well as up-and-coming actors) have returned for the Netflix Original series, and there are even some new (and still uber-famous) faces to add to the mix in this 8 episode series. Seriously, the cast-list is ridiculous. The 2001 movie was full of raunchy humor and there’s no reason not to expect more of the same once First Day of Camp goes live July 31st on Netflix.

Check out the newest trailer – “Meet the Staff” – and you can read the full announcement after that.

Hello Camp Firewood!

Camp is where you can truly be yourself. Your disgusting, unwashed, hormonal self. And if you do end up crushing on a fellow camper, here are some tips on what NOT to say:

  • You taste like a burger. I don’t like you anymore.
  • I want you inside me.
  • Good to see you. You’re Sent from my iPhone
  • I don’t care that you’re bowlegged, and I don’t care that you’re bilingual.
  • I’m gonna go fondle my sweaters.
