Kit Harington Seen in Belfast for Game of Thrones Season 6

TV

Actor Kit Harington who plays Jon Snow on the HBO series Game of Thrones was recently seen in Belfast, Ireland where a majority of Game of Thrones is filmed. Game of Thrones is currently filming the 6th season that is set to be out in 2016.

Warning, spoilers ahead.

This brings a lot of speculation to what might be happening after the finale of Season 5 when we last saw Jon Snow.  Most fans will jump to the conclusion that this confirms that there will be a role for Jon in the new season.  However, it is entirely possible that he could just be there for a funeral episode.

Since the next book, Winds of Winter, is not out yet those who have been reading the series can no longer spoil anything for those who are just watching the show.  It leaves everyone guessing about what will be happening in the upcoming season.  The Season 5 finale leaves us with Jon laying in the snow bleeding after being stabbed multiple times but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he has been killed.  Also, with Melisandre returning to Castle Black with her blood magic anything can happen.

I want to believe that Jon Snow is still alive. Maybe not the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch anymore, but still alive at the Wall.  I guess we will have to wait till either the book or the new season comes out to be able to find out for sure what will happen but at least we know that Kit will be appearing in Season 6, whether for just a funeral, or a flashback, or still alive and a main character.  Additionally I can’t wait to get more of Bran’s story to see what is happening with him north of the Wall with the children of the forest.

What do you think, is Jon Snow dead or just seriously injured?  Let us know in the comments, on Facebook, Google+, or Twitter.
