The latest Galaxy Note 5 leak shows a cellophane wrapped retail box with some specs printed on the back and the leaker insists the device is coming with a 4,100 mAh battery. We recently reported that our sources indicated the battery to be a 3,000 mAh and nothing larger. Our sources have had hands on time with the actual device but could not confirm if the devices they handled were retail ready or just prototypes.
The packaging itself does not indicate battery size in these leaked photos though. While it would be nice to see a 4,100 mAh battery inside the Note 5, we’re confident that our sources are accurate in their assessment that the device only holds a 3,000 mAh battery.
Other specs on the box include a 64bit Octa Core processor, 4GB RAM, Wireless Charging, 16MP rear and 5MP front cameras along with 32GB of ROM. Here’s how the leaker listed the features on their Facebook page.
– Super AMOLED screen, 5.7 “Quad HD
– Exynos 7420 chipset
– 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM
– Camera 16MP OIS, 5MP camera
– Android 5.1.1 system Lollipop + TouchWiz
– 4,100 mAh battery
– the S Pen with Air Command. New version
– The fingerprint scanner (Fingerprint)
– a special version supports … Wireless Charging !!
Most of the specs look to be inline with what we were told except the battery, let’s hope there actually is a 4100 mAh battery in there, I’m sure you would like to see me eat crow. LOLSource: Phone-Probe
