Once again the iPhone concept videos are hitting YouTube. Fans love to imagine their favorite device in all sorts of ways and some of these ideas are better than what Apple actually produces. This video shows an iPhone 7 concept (or iPhone 6s, we donāt know for sure what theyāre calling it) that combines the looks of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 and itās actually pretty stunning. The video adds in some things weāre likely not going to see from Apple in the near future such as wireless charging and a 16MP rear camera. It also imagines sapphire glass for the front panel which is likely not going to happen until they can figure out a better way to manufacturer it. The bezels in the concept are exactly what weād love to see and that is possible. It also shows off what they are calling Apple Dock, which transfers files to your Mac wirelessly as well as charges it, again probably not in Appleās future plan. Check out the full video below. Unfortunately it looks like the video has been removed from YouTube.
The one thing this particular video didnāt change is the iOS UI, which they likely hit right on the head. Iām not sure when Apple will actually update their UI beyond a few aesthetic changes and feeble attempts at added functionality. Thereās a lot I love about my iPhone and iPad but the UI could use a complete refresh in my opinion.
