ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition Will Have 256GB Of Storage Space

Asus has done pretty well with their ZenFone 2 model considering they created different versions of the same phone. The two versions are the Asus ZenFone 2 Laser and the Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe. Adding to the phone line once again, Asus has turned the ZenFone 2 Deluxe into a “Special Edition” model. The biggest difference between the Deluxe and Deluxe Special Edition is you’ll be receiving 256GB of internal storage for the Special Edition version.

Seeing 256GB of storage in a phone may be one of the craziest things we’ve seen, but it’s also the highest amount of storage you can get in a smartphone today. Specs on the phone aren’t too shabby either. They are the the same as the Deluxe model, which include a 5.5″ 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, Intel Atom Z3580 SoC (quad core and 64-bit), Gorilla Glass 3, a microSD card slot supporting up to 128GB, and a PowerVR G6430 GPU. Camera wise, it’s rocking a 13MP rear facing camera and on the front is a 5MP shooter. The battery is 3,000mAh, which is not removable, and dual sim card support is added in the Special Edition version.

I don’t know if your jaw dropped when seeing 256GB storage like mine did, but you may need to pick it back up as the phone has been announced only for Brazil. Nothing was mentioned for price, but we can only hope it’s going to be around the same price as the original ZenFone 2 that was released back in March of this year. Also, there was no word of mouth if the phone will be sold in other regions.

If the phone does come to your country, are you going to purchase one? Let us know in the comments below, or on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter.
