Two Acer Android quad-core phones will be making their way to United States shores very soon. Acer has announced that the award-winning Liquid Jade Z  and the Liquid Z410 will be available for US use. Both phones feature a 64-bit quad-core processor and even come unlocked for use with your choice of carrier.

Acer Liquid Jade Z

The Liquid Jade Z packs a 5″ HD display that Acer says offers great viewing angles thanks to its IPS panel. It also features “Zero Air Gap” technology that reduces unwanted reflections. That IPS panel is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3  and offers their “read mode” that is supposed to eliminate blue-light emissions making it easier on the eyes. It also packs a 13MP rear “voice-activated” camera with an F/1.8 aperture and a 5MP F/2.2 front camera. Exposure control is also integrated into the camera app.

It’s powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core processor and the 2300 mAh battery provides up to 5 hours of talk time or 400 hours in standby. A dual SIM option supports two different phone numbers for separating work and personal life. It also features DTS sound with 24Bit, 192KHz high resolution audio. The Liquid Jade Z also allows users to control their phone via their PC with their keyboard and mouse.

Acer Liquid Z410

The Liquid Z410 delivers quality visuals and seamless graphic performance for smooth operation in an affordable design, weighing just 5.1 ounces. For quick and easy operation, an AcerRAPID key allows customers to program frequently used actions to be activated with just one touch, while Acer QuickTouch enables the phone to be controlled with a simple one-finger gesture. For example, swiping with a Z shape on the locked display launches the music player, swiping left or right commands previous and next songs, while a C shape opens the camera and a V shape enables dialer functions.

The Z410 packs a 4.5″ FWVGA (854×480) display, 5MP rear and 2MP front camera. The Z410 runs on a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core processor, while the 2000 mAh replaceable Li-polymer battery lasts up to 5.5 hours of talk time or 400 hours in standby.(2) A dual SIM option enables customers to leverage two different phone numbers and DTS Studio Sound™ delivers professional audio clarity.
