Today, Marvel and ABC have given us a peek of actress Chloe Bennet in her Quake get-up. As we ramp up to the new season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. we’re getting a look at what’s happening with the S.H.I.E.L.D. team following the dramatic conclusion of the second season. For those who don’t remember **SPOILERS** Agent Coulson tasked computer/hacker and new inhuman Skye a.k.a Daisy Johnson to lead a band of off-the-grid inhumans in super covert missions to find people with powers and help them.

Complete with new gauntlets that serve both aesthetic and practical purposes.

“It’s only something that Daisy would have and is specific to her earthquake powers,” Chloe Bennet said. “It’s a practical part of [the costume], cause when you put this on in real life, it’s not that practical! I always wondered why superheroes wear such tight outfits, cause they’re really tight and really limiting. It works onscreen, though.”

Bennet’s Quake character won’t be the only one that’s getting an upgrade in the costume department this season. According to costume designer Ann Foley, the team will be getting a new look based on their new footing in the Marvel Universe.

“I think you’re definitely going to see a change in their costumes in Season 3,” she says. “At the end of season one with the fall of SHIELD, you see a shift in the costumes — we went a little darker. Then by the time we pick up with the team in Season 2, everyone had definitely grown up and you saw a shift in the way that they were dressing. Everyone just had to grow up. With the events at the end of Season 2 now, you’re going to see another shift, and the costumes will reflect a shift for everybody.”

With characters leaving SHIELD, and others getting their own spinoff, season three of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is gearing up to throw a few twists at fans. What do you think of Bennet’s new outfit? Let us know in the comments section below or on any of our social media accounts.
