For anyone who’s ever played racing games on a PC or console, the experience is enhanced significantly with the addition of a racing wheel. Thrustmaster has been one of the leaders when it comes to racing wheels, and has announced a Limited Edition Thrustmaster TX Leather Racing Wheel for the Xbox One and PC.
This high-end package offers an advanced set of components designed to celebrate the release of Forza Motorsport 6 available exclusively on Xbox One and includes a Thrustmaster hand stitched Leather 28 GT Wheel, industrial-class TX Racing Wheel Servo Base, and a T3PA 3-pedal set.
The racing wheel itself is an 11″ wheel with a GT design, with a detachable, hand-stitched leather racing wheel. The wheel is configured with two metal paddle shifters, six action buttons, one rotary switch, a multi-directional D-Pad, and has an adjustable rotation angle of up to 900 degrees.
The wheel base includes an industrial-class brushless servomotor that delivers hyper-realistic and reactive force feedback effects, and takes advantage of the latest technical innovations which allow gamers to fully enjoy the racing experience. Its accuracy is ensured by the built-in H.E.A.R.T – Hall Effect AccuRate Technology™, which uses contactless magnetic sensors to deliver wear-resistant precision. The attachment system is compatible with desks and tables, and the wheel base also features screw attachment to racing cockpits. The wheel base can also be updated with available Thrustmaster PC drivers.
The final piece of the set is the fully adjustable T3PA pedal set, featuring 3 pedals and an internal structure that is 100% metal. The set is also compatible with other Thrustmaster detachable racing wheels, the T3PA-PRO 3-Pedal set, and the Thrustmaster TH8A gearbox for those who wish to expand their racing experience further.
This Limited Edition Thrustmaster TX Leather Racing Wheel set isn’t going to be cheap though, and will have a suggested retail price of €469.99 when it is released later this month.
