The LG V10 Will Be Sold By AT&T, T-Mobile, And Verizon

LG unveiled a new phone with a new twist to it yesterday and later on during the day, it was announced that three different carriers here in the states will be getting it. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless. Why Sprint isn’t included is beyond me. Maybe they’re skipping this device for something better or they (Sprint) just didn’t want it. Who knows.

Right now, the three carriers named above have landing pages set for the device, but nothing else is mentioned as far as price or when they will be carrying the phone. T-Mobile is pre-registering for the device and will send you an email when the device does become available. You just need to leave your name, email address, phone number, and answer three questions. AT&T on the other hand only show the device is coming soon, while Verizon is now showing a blank page.

If you haven’t already read the specs for the device, they’re not bad on paper, but everyone knows to wait and see how it preforms when it’s out. The phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC (same as what’s found in the G4), 4GB of RAM, a fingerprint scanner on the power button (like the Sony Xperia Z5), and 64GB of internal storage with expandable storage. Other features include a  2.1″ second screen on top of a 5.7″ display, dual front facing cameras, 16MP for the rear facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is the OS. No word if it’ll ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow or get it as an update later. There will be five different color options to choose from, Lux White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue, Opal Blue, and Space Black. Verizon will get the Lux White version exclusively (of course), while AT&T and T-Mobile have yet to say which color version(s) they will offer. If T-Mobile will get the Opal Blue or Space Black in, then I’m ok.
