With the latest version of Android due out next week, many users are wondering if their devices are going to be upgraded to the latest and greatest. The Motorola Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) upgrade list has been posted to the company’s blog and shows which devices the company plans to update.

The update list includes the following:

  • 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (3rd gen)
  • 2015 Moto X Style (3rd gen)
  • 2015 Moto X Play
  • 2015 Moto G (3rd gen)
  • 2014 Moto X Pure Edition in the US (2nd gen)
  • 2014 Moto X in Latin America, Europe and Asia (2nd gen)
  • 2014 Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE (2nd gen)
  • DROID Turbo
  • 2014 Moto MAXX
  • 2014 Moto Turbo
  • Nexus 6

Motorola is quick to note that things may change, and the upgrades will vary by country. Timing hasn’t been mentioned either, and Motorola will be pushing the upgrades out when they now they are ready.

The Motorola devices will be able to take advantage of some of the new enhancements in Android 6.0, including Doze Mode, Now on Tap, Android Pay, Direct Share, and simpler volume controls. Motorola has generally run its devices with a close to stock Android experience with a few enhancements packed in. In the past, these enhancements have added some much needed functionality to Android. With Android Marshmallow, some of the features found in Moto Enhancements have been integrated into the OS and as a result Motorola will be removing Moto Assist and retiring Motorola Migrate as part of the upgrade to Android M.

Is your phone on the list of devices Motorola will be upgrading, or do you own a Motorola device that’s not on the list? Let us know in the comments below, or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
