Turn 10 Doubles Up On Forza Motorsport 6 Loyalty Rewards?

Radian-1

I’ve always been one to rave about how Turn 10 treats its loyal fans, and with the recent launch of Forza Motorsport 6, Turn 10 continues to reward those gamers who have played previous games in the franchise with bonus credits, cars, and special badges.

When I first fired up Forza Motorsport 6 when it launched, I received the usual bounty of free cars based on my Forza Rewards tier, as well as a few more for playing Forza Motorsport 4Forza Motorsport 5, and Forza Horizon 2, and 1,300,000 credits based on the total number of cars I owned across the previous games. All told, it was 11 cars plus the credits. The one thing I didn’t get though was my shiny platinum Forza Faithful badge. Not the end of the world…

So imagine my surprise as I logged in to speed around a couple tracks last night and Turn 10 was (once again) thanking me for my loyalty! Not only did I get all 11 cars I previously received, I also received the Tier 8 car (a nice and shiny 2014 Audi #2 Audi Team Joest R19 e-tron quattro) which I missed at launch because I was only Tier 7, as well as the 1,300,00 credits again, and of course my Forza Faithful badge!

MOAR free credits!

I verified that the credits and cars had indeed been added, and sure enough, I have two of each car in my garage. I’m not convinced this was intended, it could just be a side effect of Turn 10 fixing the badge not unlocking (other badges have been failing to unlock properly as well) – but either way I’ll take what I can get!

Doubling up on the Ferrari’s…

Who’s to say how long this “double” loyalty rewards will last, if you’ve got Forza Motorsport 6, you’ll probably want to log in as soon as you can to see if you’ve also been rewarded twice.
