Jackbox games has released the sequel to the popular, and hilarious, The Jackbox Party Pack party game. Available today on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC, The Jackbox Party Pack 2 features three new games and updates to two fan-favourites.
If you didn’t play The Jackbox Party Pack, you’re in for a treat. All the games in the bundle can be played using your phone, tablet, or computer as a controller – no need for multiple expensive console controllers for up to 8 player trivia fun. Simply join the appropriate room on Jackbox.TV on your device and you’re good to go!
The Jackbox Party Pack 2 features the following new games:
- Bidiots (3-6 players) is an absurd art auction game where players draw masterpieces on their touchscreens.
- Earwax (3-8 players) challenges party-goers to match quirky prompts with the best sound effects from their personal stashes.
- Bomb Corp. (1-4 players) is a nail-biting competition to try to avoid being exploded into bits.
Additionally, two Jackbox fan favourites make their return with even more questions and prompts:
- Fibbage 2 (2-8 players), the sequel to the massively popular bluffing game, features over 500 questions, more than twice the content found in Fibbage.
- Quiplash XL (3-8 players) is a supersized bundle of everything from the original Quiplash and the first Quip Pack, plus over 100 entirely new say-anything prompts.
The collection has also been enhanced by letting the audience play along, and even influence the outcome in Fibbage 2, Quiplash XL, and Earwax. One of the issues with the original party pack has been addressed as well as timers can now be extended to make it easier for participants to play together remotely on live streams like Twitch.
The Xbox One, PC, Mac, App Store, Amazon Fire TV, and Google’s Android TV versions have been released today worldwide. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions are available in North America, with European, Australian, and New Zealand releases coming soon. The Jackbox Party Pack 2 has a recommended price of £19.99/$24.99USD.
