Taylor Swift Leads 2015 American Music Awards Nominations

The 2015 American Music Awards nominations were announced this morning with Taylor Swift leading the pack of nominees with 6 nominations. The star-studded award show will be broadcast live on ABC from the Microsoft Theater on November 22 at 8 p.m., and is set to be hosted by Jennifer Lopez. The nominations were announced partially on Good Morning America by Joe Jonas and Charlie Puth this morning. The remaining nominees were announced via Snapchat.

Following Taylor Swift is Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd with 5 nominations each, and a number of artists including Meghan Trainor, Nicki Minaj, Sam Hunt, Sam Smith, and Walk The Moon with three nominations each.

Taylor Swift is in the midst of her “The 1989 World Tour” which started in May and ends in December, covering 85 stops with reported attendance to be over 1.1 million and generating almost $130 million in revenue.
