The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Is Finally Here!

|

After months of anticipation and patiently waiting, Star Wars fans don’t have to wait any more as the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has been released. Be warned, some variety of napkin or towel may be required to mop up drool.

We won’t delay you further, you can watch it below:

The trailer definitely gives us a good look at what to expect in the seventh movie in the franchise, and from the looks of it, it should allay any fears die hard fans have in regards to the direction the series is going.

We get our best look yet at Daisy Ridley’s Rey, scavenging what appears to be the downed Star Destroyer we’ve seen in previous teasers. While light on exact plot points, we hear Rey talking to an unknown voice off screen, telling the unknown voice that she is no one. We see John Boyega’s Finn in full 1st Order regalia, and what could be the Tie Fighter crash that lands him on Jakku. We hear Kylo Ren and find out exactly where the burned husk of Darth Vader’s mask resides. Ren has taken it upon himself to finish what Vader started. Kylo shows off a few of his force powers, then we get into some fantastic looking ship battles. The Millennium Falcon starts in a dogfight with a few Tie Fighters, and then we get to see the man himself: Han Freaking Solo. Han confirms that the stories Rey and Finn have heard are true – the dark side, Jedi, all real. There are some awesome explosions, even more fantastic ship battles, and who am I kidding, you aren’t reading this you’re watching the trailer again aren’t you? Don’t worry, I wouldn’t blame you if you are!
