In our continued “New on Netflix Canada” series, we take a look at what’s new — including the highly anticipated Marvel’s Jessica Jones — and what’s leaving — say goodbye to “my little friend” — for November. If you’re a Netflix US subscriber, you can check out our what’s New on Netflix US list.

Netflix Originals

There’s no doubt that Marvel’s Jessica Jones is the biggest anticipated release that’s new on Netflix Canada this month, especially after the success of Marvel’s Daredevil when it was released earlier this year. As we mentioned on our Netflix US list, Jessica Jones is the second of four epic live-action adventure series (including Marvel’s Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, leading up to the teaming of the characters in Marvel’s The Defenders) to premiere only on Netflix. It is a suspenseful, edgy look into the life of one of the most popular new Marvel characters of the last decade, as she faces demons from within and without. The drama will premiere November 20 with thirteen one-hour episodes, and stars Krysten Ritter as the superhero turned Hell’s Kitchen private investigator.

Another Netflix Original, Master of None starring comedian Aziz Ansari, Noël Wells, and Eric Wareheim, follows New Yorker Dev as he takes on such pillars of maturity as the first big job, a serious relationship, and busting sex offenders on the subway. Season one will release on November 6th.

Anime fans are in for a treat as Netflix introduces The Seven Deadly Sins in which a kingdom is taken over by tyrants, and the deposed princess begins a quest to find a disbanded group of evil knights to help take back her realm. The first season airs November 1st.

Two more Netflix Originals round out the month starting with the John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid comedy special in which the former SNL writer offers sly takes on marriage, his beef with babies and the time he met Bill Clinton. The first season of W/ Bob and Dave follows Bob and Dave’s sketch comedy after being dishonorably discharged from the Navy Seals. Both titles will be available for streaming on November 13th.

Netflix Original Series For Kids

For the kids, those adorable and lovable Care Bares are back with Season 1 of Care Bears & Cousins. Available starting November 6th, the whole huggable gang is back, bringing tales of caring and sharing to a new generation with the Care Bears Cousins showing up to join the fun!
