Phorce Launches Hybrid Pocket Wallet/Portable Charger Kickstarter

As we’ve mentioned time and again here on Techaeris, battery life in mobile devices is usually at the forefront of the list of concerns for mobile users. There are various portable phone charger solutions available on the market, ranging from portable battery packs to extended battery cases for certain phones.

Phorce, the makers of premium products for mobile professionals, has announced a Kickstarter campaign for the Pocket, an ultimate everyday carry that combines a sleek and slim wallet with a portable charger. This expertly designed wallet is only half of an inch thick and weighs 2.3 ounces, giving users access to 7 cards and a few bills. Using spring loaded technology, owners can easily access their cards, creating a Card Spring™, instantly raising all 7 cards for convenience. The Pocket features a Quick Strap to hold your most used card or extra cash, keeping your valuables safe and secure. Phorce’s Pocket wallet provides users with 50% extra battery (1150 mAH), the perfect amount to get through the rest of your day.

To give you an idea of what additional battery life you can expect from the Pocket, Phorce has a short list:

  • iPhone 6S: +50%
  • Galaxy S6: +35%
  • Wireless headphones (in-ear): +1,000%
  • Wireless headphones (on-ear): +400%
  • GoPro Hero4: +80%

Phorce has a ways to go with just under $8,000 out of their $200,000 goal, but the Kickstarter still has plenty of time as it ends on January 15. With an expected retail price for Phorce Pocket and 4 extra Quick Traps of $99USD, there’s still time to get a considerable discount. While the $59 early bird is sold out, you can still snag 1 Phorce Pocket for $69, 2 for $135, 10 for $649, or 80 for $5000.
