EA Access Free Play Days On Xbox One For XBL Gold Members

|

EA Access has been around for awhile on the Xbox One and offers subscribers who pay a monthly or yearly fee discounts on most EA games, as well as access the EA Access Vault. The EA Access Vault currently houses 14 games, which EA has stated in the past will remain in the Vault, and more are added as time goes on. During the week of January 19 through 24th, Free Play Days returns as EA has opened the EA Access Vault to all Xbox Live Gold members, allowing free and unlimited access to more than a dozen games currently in the Vault during those days.

The EA Games currently in the Vault include:

  • Battlefield Hardline
  • EA Sports UFC
  • Battlefield 4
  • FIFA 15
  • Madden 25
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • NHL 15
  • Titanfall
  • Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
  • Need for Speed Rivals
  • NBA LIVE 15
  • Peggle 2
  • FIFA 14
  • Madden 14

To get started, Xbox Live Gold members will need to download the EA Access Hub App to their Xbox One consoles. After it’s installed, simply open the app, head over to the EA Access Vault section and select the game you want to install and play. Any progress you make is saved as if you own the game, and in the case of games like Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, characters you earn will carry over to the upcoming Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 which is out soon.

In addition, EA Access members get 10% off on EA digital purchases on the Xbox One, as well as limited early access to new EA games before release, allowing you to get a head start or simply try out a title before committing to purchasing it. Upcoming early access to new games include Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, Unravel, EA Sports UFC 2,  and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.

After the Free Play Days finishes, XBL Gold members will be given the option to subscribe to the service for $4.99USD/month or $29.99USD/year — a more than fair price for access to some of EA’s older games.
