Backwards Compatible Dead Space Added To EA Access Vault

Dead Space was recently added to the Xbox Backward Compatibility program, and it now joins the original Plants vs Zombies in the EA Access Vault, making it the second backwards compatible game in the Vault. Dead Space is also currently free for Xbox Live Gold members but if you aren’t an XBL Gold member, or forget to pick it up and you do subscribe to EA Access then there’s another option to play the full version of the game without restrictions for free.

If you’re not aware, EA Access on the Xbox One is a subscription service that costs $5/month or $30/year and it not only gives you early access to new EA games, it also gives you 10% off digital versions of EA Games in the Xbox Store, and access to full versions of games in the EA Access Vault. EA has mentioned previously that once a game hits the Vault, it will never be removed.

The full list of current games in the EA Access Vault include:

  • Battlefield 4
  • Battlefield Hardline
  • Dead Space
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • EA Sports UFC
  • FIFA 14
  • FIFA 15
  • Madden NFL 15
  • Madden NFL 25
  • Madden NFL 16
  • NBA Live 15
  • Need for Speed: Rivals
  • NHL 15
  • NHL 16
  • Peggle 2
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
  • Titanfall

Not a bad list for $5/month or $30/year… Do you subscribe to EA Access? What do you think of the service and the recent addition of Dead Space to the Vault? Let us know in the comments below, or on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter.
