shomi, one of a few new Canadian streaming services that allow viewers to stream TV shows and movies, will finally land on the Xbox One. Currently available for the Xbox 360, Apple TV, Chromecast, and PlayStation 4, the shomi Xbox One app will launch on May 3rd.

The Xbox One app will allow users to access the full functionality of the shomi online experience, and will give viewers access to TV shows like Mr. Robot, Mad Dogs, SuperMansion, and Catastrophe, along with day-and-date releases of hit series Empire, Jane the Virgin, Fresh Off the Boat, iZOMBIE, and The Originals. shomi also features exclusive streaming of full seasons of shows like Sons of Anarchy, Vikings, and Justified, as well as past seasons of popular comedies including Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, and even M*A*S*H.
The process to set up shomi on your Xbox One should be pretty simple:
- Dowload the shomi app from the Xbox store on your Xbox One
- As a shomi member secure your activation code through the shomi app on Xbox One
- Head to shomi.com/activate, select Xbox One, and log in.
- Once you enter your activation code you’ll be ready to start streaming on your Xbox One.
