ADEL Technology Says It Can Get Brian Johnson Back In Black

Brain Johnson is a legend among rock stars. As the lead singer of AC/DC since the untimely death of original vocalist Bon Scott, Johnson has been belting out AC/DC tunes since 1980. AC/DC is also one of the workhorses of rock & roll as they continue to tour and record well into their sixties and show no signs of stopping. Recently Angus Young and the band had to come to a decision that has left Brian Johnson void of his lead singer role in the band. Johnson has been suffering from hearing loss which has affected his ability to perform and heavily affected the bands live shows.

With Johnson suffering from so much damage to his hearing over the years the band chose to move on without him. Rumors flew around as to who would replace the legendary Brian Johnson and while there has been no official announcement, Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses has been the interim replacement on tour. Some think Axl will end up being Johnson’s permanent replacement but many hardcore fans are clamoring for Johnson to return to the band as they believe he’s the only man for the job.

While some have giving up on Johnson recovering from his hearing loss there is at least one company who believes they have a technology that could return him to the stage. ADEL technology posted a video to YouTube asking Brian Johnson to reach out to them and let them help him regain his hearing with their new in ear monitor technology.

When you seal a miniature speaker in an ear canal, the speaker produces air pressure, which is also known as pneumatic pressure. This pneumatic pressure causes your natural eardrum to move excessively which causes ear fatigue and could even lead to hearing loss.

With ADEL, these pressures are absorbed, sound quality is improved, proper phase response is restored and the stereo image is much wider. Instrument separation is more distinguishable because the sound is delivered to your ear drum in a more natural way.

The ADEL Auto Module contains a membrane, a secondary ear drum that is more compliant than your natural ear drum. The primary function of ADEL is to absorb pneumatic pressure in the ear canal which results in a safer listening experience and a more rich and spacious sound. Every U-Series and A-Series earphones come standard with the ADEL Auto Module (non-adjustable) and is user replaceable.

The technology looks interesting and the live testing in the video stirs up emotions even for the viewers who are watching people hear for the first time in years. We sure hope that Brian Johnson, at the very least, looks into this and is game on trying it out. While some have given Axl Rose props for doing a decent job of filling in, it is hard to imagine AC/DC without Johnson.

What do you think of ADEL technology? Is this something that you think Brian Johnson should try? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
