Even though I reviewed Master & Dynamic’s MW60 over-ear premium wireless headphones over 6 months ago, they’re still by far some of the best— if not the best — wireless headphones I’ve ever used. Not only do they boast fantastic sound, great battery life (rated for 15 hours on a charge — we saw almost 20), comfort, and solid construction but I was a huge fan of the premium grain leather, lambskin leather, stainless steel, and aluminum look.
Not content to sit back, M&D is introducing an all black MW60 design to their headphones, and I have to admit they look SLEEK. The black metal, black leather MW60 Wireless Over Ear Headphones are the third colour variation, joining the silver metal/brown leather and gunmetal/black leather designs. All three colour variations are available on the Master & Dynamic website for $549USD — and worth every penny if you can afford them.
The MW60 headphones contain custom 45mm neodymium drivers and a patent-pending all-aluminum antenna which provide sophisticated sound. Also featuring a multi-point connection and a 15 hour lithium ion rechargeable battery, the new black on black design gives purchasers even more choice when it comes to these premium wireless headphones.
Master & Dynamic has had an exciting year so far, and have unveiled a number of projects including a new limited-edition cobalt blue colour scheme exclusive to the luxury boutique Colette in Paris. In addition, they were also commissioned by The Rolling Stones to make custom official MH40 headphones for their “Exhibitionism” exhibit, embellished with the iconic “Tongue and Lip Design” logo atop each speaker. Not stopping there, custom, limited-edition headphones were also created by M&D in conjunction with the Japanese designer and creative director Poggy.
