Design

These particular iClever Bluetooth wireless headphones are somewhat comma-shaped. There is a larger circular top where the iClever name mark is located, with a smaller curved outcropping on the bottom. The ear tips are attached to the larger circular top portion, and each ear tip also includes a rubber ear hook that fits up into the rook of your ear to help hold the bud in your ear.

The left earbud includes the Micro-USB port for charging, as well as a low battery indicator light, while the right earbud has a large multi-function on/off button on the circular iClever logo area. The right earbud also features a volume/track rocker and microphone. The earbuds are connected via a tangle-resistant flat cable, that can be worn behind or in front of your neck while in use.

The housing of the earbuds aren’t small, but they aren’t huge by any means. The earbuds do fit quite comfortably into your ear. The ear hook is flexible and helps keep the earbuds fit snugly in your ear, and since they are flexible they are quite comfortable in your ear.

Ease of Use

Pairing Bluetooth Devices should practically be second nature for most all of us at this point, and thankfully, pairing the iClever Bluetooth Wireless headphones is quick and easy. Once paired, simply press and hold the large on/off multi-function button on the right earbud to get started.

After you’ve paired the earbuds, you can easily control your music from them themselves. The multi-function button will pause/play your music or answer a phone call. The rocker on the right earbud will adjust the volume with a press, or change tracks when held. Otherwise you’ll really just get to sit back and listen to your tunes… easy enough.

Sound

Honestly, the sound on these is pretty freaking good. Decent bass for earbuds, mostly clean mids and highs, and an overall mix that sounds really good for an inexpensive pair of earbuds. The snug fit in your ear provides good noise isolation, which helps to improve the sound as well.

The earbuds tend to run a bit loud, which helps for their intended purposes as well. I tested these when mowing the lawn a few times, and even at pretty reasonable volumes I didn’t have any issue hearing my music over the lawn mower.

Reception/Call Quality

While you may not want to answer a phone call while you’re out on a run, or mowing the lawn, the iClever headphones do offer the ability to make and answer calls. These headphones feature a noise reducing microphone to help keep calls clear. When using these headphones to answer calls, I noticed a slight echo, but everything sounded OK otherwise. The noise cancelling microphone works as it should, I made several calls with a fan going in the background, and callers could not hear the fan as they would using the phone’s microphone.

Battery Life

Listed at seven hours of playback time and up to 175 hours of standby time, these are earbuds that will last through several workouts, lawn mowing, or various other activities. They can even get you through nearly a full work day if you want to wear them throughout the day. When the battery is exhausted, it’ll take approximately two hours to refill. These are headphones that should last you through whatever activity you choose to use them with.

Price/Value

These earbuds are listed on Amazon for $20, and at that price these are a steal. These are light, comfortable earbuds that provide really good sound considering the price. They’re also sweat-proof and can stand up to the activities you’ll use them for. You’re probably getting more than you’re paying for at the $20 price on Amazon.

Wrap Up

Just because you want to listen to some music while you’re getting sweaty doesn’t mean you have to spend a fortune to get some pretty strong sound. The iClever Bluetooth Wireless headphones offer big sound in a light, comfortable package at a ridiculously low price.
