It was over a year ago that Xbox Australia debuted the Xbox Onesie. Unfortunately, it was a limited edition run and well… pretty much everyone was left out. Sure, Larry Hryb, a.k.a. Major Nelson, had a giveaway but I for one didn’t win.
The Xbox Onesie came in white or black and had large pockets to fit your Xbox controllers and remotes, an arm pouch to offer easy access to your mobile phone, rollable legs and arms for those warmer days, forearm grips to prevent arm slippage while gaming, an extra-large hood so it fits over your gaming headset, and even came with customized Gamertag embroidery. To be honest, I think if Xbox decided to make these in mass quantities, they’d sell more than a few.
Well now you can pick up a free Xbox Onesie — for your Xbox Avatar. Major Nelson got together with the Xbox Avatar Store team and you can now download black and white Xbox Onesies for your male and female avatars. While they’re not the real deal, they’re probably going to be about as close as most of us will ever get to owning one.
