Free games for PlayStation Plus: November 2016

One of the best reasons to subscribe to PlayStation Plus (apart from the ability to play online) is the free games that Sony approves each month. These titles vary considerably, and you won’t always get AAA titles, but that does not mean you will never receive a great selection from time to time.

For November, Sony has released the below games free to PS Plus subscribers across all platforms:

  • Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, PS4
  • The Deadly Tower of Monsters, PS4
  • Dirt 3, PS3
  • Costume Quest 2, PS3
  • Letter Quest Remastered, PS Vita (Cross buy with PS4)
  • Pumped BMX+, PS Vita (Cross buy with PS4 and PS3)

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is a magnificent game in which you explore a strange and deserted English countryside town, and slowly unravel the cause of people mysteriously disappearing . This game is slow paced, but makes up for it with one of the best video game soundtracks, along with an engrossing story set around well-developed characters. I would recommend giving this title a play-through, and the fact that you can get it for free now means there is absolutely no reason not to, so what are you waiting for? Download it now.

Next up, The Deadly Tower of Monsters, a kooky and fun homage to 70’s B-movies. The game is played from a top-down perspective, and features gorgeous artwork, complete with stop-motion enemies to duke it out with, as you fight your way through the many levels of the tower. The game even comes complete with director’s commentary for that little extra cult classic vibe.

If you are currently a PS Plus subscriber, then I would recommend heading online to the store, and downloading this offering of free games. If you are not already a subscriber, then this should be a good incentive to consider doing so.

Let me know your thoughts on the selected titles in the comments section below, or on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter.
