Kobi is your all in one lawn care robot system

There’s nothing like owning your own home. It’s rewarding and satisfying but it also comes with a ton of responsibility. Among those responsibilities is mowing, leaf removal, and snow removal, but fear not because Kobi will take care of it for you. Yes, there are other robot mowers on the market but Kobi is unique in that it also blows your leaves and plows your driveway. All of these amenities aren’t going to come cheap, we’re talking an estimated MSRP of $4000USD.

You own a smartphone and yet your shed is still full of dumb garden tools? Well, maybe they were helpful once, but today, it’s time for an upgrade. Say hi to Kobi, the smartest tool in the shed.

Does the word ‘labor’ make you jump with joy? If you’re anything like us, it probably does not. Our definition of the word ‘joy’ does not include mowing lawns, cleaning up leaves or removing snow. In fact, we despise these activities. Obviously, that is why we built Kobi. And, obviously, that is why you want one.

The company is marketing this little robot with some aggressive tactics too, even giving reasons as to why old school gardening is dangerous to the environment.

Here is something you didn’t know: the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that over 17 million gallons of fuel are spilled yearly while refuelling yard equipment. Which is more than oil spilled by the Exxon Valdez! Every year! If that is not enough for you: gas-powered lawn mowers are responsible for about 5% of US airpolution according to the EPA. Oh, by the way, did we already mention that Kobi is not gas-powered, but fully electric?

The Kobi does look like a great little addition to a home or small business, but the cost is high. Would you buy one of these devices for your home? Let us know what you think in the comments below or on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.
