[CES 2017] D-Link adds three new HD Wi-Fi cameras for simple home security

Designed for a variety of home security applications, D-Link has added three new HD Wi-Fi cameras to their line of smart home security solutions. The Full HD 180-Degree Outdoor WI-Fi Camera, HD 180 Degree Wi-Fi Camera, and HD Wi-Fi Camera will offer premium features including wide viewing angles, crisp HD video quality, advanced video monitoring capabilities, and will be compatible with other D-Link Connected Home devices.

“Life doesn’t stay still, and D-Link’s home security devices provide families with flexible solutions to make life simpler and provide more security,” said Oscar Reyes, vice president of marketing, D-Link Systems. “Cameras are a vital component of home security, and D-Link is committed to ensuring families around the world have an intuitive and affordable way to monitor homes and loved ones.”

All three HD Wi-Fi cameras feature night vision technology as well as sound and motion detection capabilities for triggering push alerts or video clip recordings to a microSD card (on the HD 180 Degree cameras).

The Full HD 180-Degree Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera will not be sold in the U.S. and features 2-way audio, 1080p video, 180-degree FOV, 25′ night vision and will retail for under $250. The HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera also features 2-way audio and 180-degree FOV, as well as 720p video and 16′ night vision. This model will retail for under $120USD. Finally, the HD Wi-Fi Camera is the most affordable at under $69USD and features a built-in microphone, 120-degree FOV, and 16′ night vision.

In addition to the new HD Wi-Fi cameras, the mydlink Home app has been updated to offer a simple, free, unified app for controlling D-Link’s Connected Home products and Wi-Fi cameras.

The new HD Wi-Fi cameras will be available in the second quarter of 2017.
