Part Laptop, Part Tablet, the Lenovo Flex 11 Represents a New Generation of Consumer Chromebooks

Lenovo makes a play for mainstream consumers with the new Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook. Packing the fun of a tablet with the power punch of a PC, and designed with Android™ apps in mind, the Flex 11 is a 2-in-1 laptop optimized for entertainment and productivity. Its 360° hinge and 11.6″ multi-touch display gives users the flexibility to shift between four dynamic modes (watch, tent, laptop, and tablet) for any combination of work and play activities.

Powered by a 2.10 GHz Quad Core ARM processor, the Flex 11 is built for seamlessly running apps from the Chrome Web Store, and soon, the Google Play Store1. Combine all of that with a lightweight durable design, up to 10-hour battery life, USB Type-C connectivity, and the robust security, and you have a winning, simple to use Chromebook that does it all.

Powered for Google Play

We designed the Flex 11 for consumers with Android apps from the Google Play Store in mind. Its 2.10 GHz Quad Core ARM processor delivers the app experience mobile app users expect. Skype, Asphalt 8, Evernote and Slack run seamlessly on this powerful ARM processor as well as all touch applications, interactive games, high definition video, and more, without compromising on performance.

A Flexible 2-in-1

Part laptop, part tablet, the Flex 11 allows for seamless work-to-play possibilities with its 360° hinge and multi-touch display. With the Flex 11, users can shift from streaming shows in watch mode to sharing photos in tent mode, or presenting in laptop mode to browsing in tablet mode. The Flex 11’s 11.6” HD multi-touch display supports 10-finger touch screen recognition, increasing user interaction and boosting productivity for a variety of applications. In addition, its anti-glare technology reduces eye strain and its IPS technology delivers crisp images across wide viewing angles.

Lightweight & Portable

Weighing less than 3 pounds, the Flex 11 is lightweight and ideal for productivity on the go. It’s compact enough to easily slip in your bag when you’re on the move or to carry from room to room when you’re at home.

Rugged Durable Design

The Flex 11 withstands the rigors of the entire day with its drop-resistant design for falls from up to 75cm (2.4 feet). Additionally, we’ve reinforced its ports and sealed its touchpad to protect against accidental spills, while its non-slip texture ensures you can get a secure grip when you’re mobile. What’s more, the Flex 11 features a water-resistant keyboard that can handle spills of up to 330 ml (around 1 cup of water). If you do spill, we’ve designed channels beneath the keyboard to drain liquid, keeping it away from sensitive electrical components.

Connectivity

The Flex 11 makes it easy to connect to other devices, thanks to a wide range of ports, including HDMI, USB 3.0, a mic/audio jack and an SD card slot. Best of all, it has a USB Type C port for powerful and fast connectivity to peripherals. USB Type-C can charge your laptop or your peripherals and provides video and data I/O.

Long-Life Battery

With up to 10 hours of battery life2, the Flex 11 will last the entire day and more. Bring it home, charge it overnight, and forget about the cord the next day.

Pricing and Availability

Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook starts at $279 (USD) and is available beginning April 2017.
