SteelSeries QcK Prism RGB-illuminated mousepad gives gamers choice of surface

SteelSeries has just released the latest in their QcK mousepad lineup — the QcK Prism, the world’s first dual-surface RGB-illuminated mousepad. The mousepad is launching alongside SteelSeries’ Prism Sync software, which allows users to sync lighting effects across their compatible SteelSeries Prism-enabled gear.

The QcK Prism comes with brilliant 360-degree, 12-zone Prism RGB illumination with advanced lighting effects and supports SteelSeries GameSense, providing reactive illumination to in-game events such as low ammo, health, kills, cooldown timers and more.

“Every aspect of this peripheral was built with purpose. It delivers premium surface performance with brilliant lighting and zero mouse cable interference,” says Jason Christian, Category Manager for Gaming Surfaces, Mice and Keyboards.

The latest mousepad from SteelSeries features a reversible pad which has a premium hard polymer surface on one side for fast-paced gaming and a micro-textured cloth surface on the other side for extra control. The QcK Prism supports GameSense Lighting with 360-degree, 12 zone, 16.8 million color Prism RGB illumination. Unlike other RGB-illuminated mousepads, the QcK Prism features a left side cable placement, keeping your mousepad cord off to the side and away from your mouse cord which prevents it from interfering with your gameplay.

The surface of the QcK Prism mousepad is reversible, allowing for a choice of gaming surface.

SteelSeries Prism Sync allows you to coordinate your lighting effects for the mousepad with other SteelSeries Prism-enabled gear like the Rival 300, 500, and 700 mice, Apex 350 and M800 keyboards, and Arctis 5, Siberia 350, and Siberia 650 headsets.

The QcK Prism is now available from the SteelSeries website for $59.99USD and online retailers including Amazon and Best Buy. What do you think about the QcK Prism? Do you plan on picking one up? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
