With Injustice 2 just around the corner for consoles, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, DC Entertainment, and NetherRealm Studios have released a mobile version for iOS and Android devices. The game expands on Injustice: Gods Among Us with head-to-head 3-on-3 fighting, a massive character roster, new modes, and “visceral fighting gameplay.”

“With Injustice 2, the team has worked extremely hard to build upon an already successful mobile game to bring a fresh fighting game experience to mobile devices,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios. “We are excited to have fans experience a few of our favorite new features including upgraded special moves, improved combat and Story Mode, which will be released chapter by chapter.”

Injustice 2 for mobile has new and improved combat and now allows players to perform jumping and crouching attacks, implement advanced zoning techniques, and move heroes and villains across the “fight line” through touch screen controls. New modes include “Operations” which allows you to send characters away on missions and the competitive PvP action “Arena” mode.

The mobile version of the game also features the unique Gear System which allows players to collect, upgrade, and customize gear, as well as daily objectives which can be completed for in-game rewards in the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

Injustice 2 for mobile is now available for free with in-app purchases on the App Store for iPad and iPhone and on Google Play for Android devices.
