A new video leak of what is purported to be an iPhone 8 dummy phone has surfaced from leaker @VenyaGeskin1. The leaker’s real name is Benjamin Geskin and he often posts iPhone mockups and other leaks on his Twitter account. In the video, you can clearly see the iPhone 8 dummy phone look very much like the most recent leaks all the way around. The vertical dual-camera is clearly visible and the physical home button is nowhere to be found. Check out the video below for the full ten second iPhone 8 dummy tour, which we do know is not authentic Apple hardware.

Last year, when the iPhone 7 Plus rumors were flying, one company made their own mockup of the device and gave it to YouTubers to show off. The company created the mockup of the iPhone 7 Plus and in exchange, they received mentions and linkbacks to their upcoming products. It wasn’t until a few days later that some YouTubers clarified that the mockup wasn’t authentic Apple hardware but the creation of a third-party company. Judging from Geskin’s latest Tweet, it seems that this iPhone 8 dummy phone isn’t the real deal either.

Still, this particular design has been making the rounds in renders and drawings and many believe it to be close to the final design. It’s been reported that the iPhone 8 will house new display technology for Apple in the form of an OLED panel. These panels are being supplied by Samsung, who’s been a leader in OLED panel technology for some time now. It will be interesting to see if the final design looks anything like this.
