Given the popularity — and scarcity — of the NES Classic Mini, there’s no doubt that classic gaming is still very popular. Whether it’s nostalgia for games of yesteryear or introducing a new generation to the classics, there are other options on the market if you weren’t able to snag an NES Classic. Granted, unless you want to build your own your choices are more or less relegated to Atari and Sega classics and AtGames has you covered with a new lineup of classic gaming hardware due out this fall.

The company has also announced the Atari Flashback Portable Game Player and the Ultimate Portable Game Player so you can take your classic gaming out and about.
The all-new Atari Flashback® 8 Gold features 120 built-in all-time favorites while the Atari Flashback® 8 Gold Activision Edition has 130 Atari 2600 favorites. Games include legends like Activision’s Pitfall! and Taito’s Space Invaders, as well as many other all-time Atari 2600 classics like Kaboom!™, River Raid™, Centipede™, and Millipede™. Two all new, high performance 2.4ghz wireless controllers, styled after the Atari 2600 originals, are included, as well as two legacy controller ports for optional wired joysticks or paddles. Other all new features for the Atari Flashback® 8 Gold include 720p HDMI output, scan line filtering, and a save/pause/rewind feature for every game.
The Atari Flashback® 8 Classic Game Console returns in a new value-priced edition, complete with 105 all-time favorites. Amazing new additions to the game line-up include Activision legends like Pitfall!™, Kaboom!™, and River Raid™. Two wired controllers, styled after the Atari 2600 originals, are included, as well as two legacy controller ports to add your own optional wired joysticks or paddles.

Between the four consoles and two portable gaming systems, there’s sure to be something for gamers of all ages. Pricing has yet to be announced but the systems should be available for preorder starting in July and are expected to be in stores in September.
