At this point, if you’re an Xbox gamer, it almost makes no sense in buying EA titles as the EA Access Vault just keeps getting better. With EA Access, you not only get early access to upcoming games, you also get 10% off EA titles if you so choose to buy them, but the biggest perk is the EA Access Vault. In case you’re unfamiliar, the Vault is a collection of full EA games you can play as long as you’re an EA Access member. EA has repeatedly indicated that games in the Vault will remain in the Vault forever as well.
With over 40 Xbox 360 and Xbox One games currently in the Vault including the original Mass Effect trilogy, assorted Battlefield games, EA sports titles, and more, the list just got a major boost with a couple of tweets by EA the other day.
First up? All Star Wars Battlefront DLC is now free in the Vault for EA Access members. Usually, the full base game is part of the Vault, but rarely — so far anyway — is the DLC included as well.

Not a bad start to the new content being added, but even better: by September both Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 will be making their way to the Vault as well.

EA Access is $4.99/month or $29.99 for the year — definitely a fantastic deal considering the games currently in the Vault and given the price of a full game these days. You can definitely save more than a few dollars if you can wait a few months to play the latest EA title.
