Overwatch gets a new game mode: Deathmatch

Overwatch is the game to play. It doesn’t matter if you’re good or bad at the game, it’s a lot of fun. Playing with friends or by yourself in the various game modes does require a lot of teamwork though, and not everyone is compliant with that especially if they’re doing their own thing and trying to get more kills than anyone else. It won’t be too much longer for those lone gamers to play on their own. They’ll be able to beat everyone without having to work with others in a new game mode: Deathmatch. Check out the developer update video below:

The game mode pins you and seven other people against each other in a free for all. The first to 20 kills wins. Matches take place mostly on modified maps that are already in the game. A new map is being introduced with the game mode and takes place at the home of the sniper, Widowmaker. If you do want to play with some teammates in Deathmatch, you will have that option too in the Team Deathmatch game mode. This mode will be six versus six with teams trying to get to 30 kills during the game play. If you’re down for playing either of these game modes, you will ultimately be able to find them in the Arcade where all other modes are chosen and can win some loot while you’re at it.

Blizzard hasn’t released any details when the game modes will be released for all systems, but at the moment, both game modes are available through the PTR (public test region) on PC, so definitely check it out if you want to play. Any Overwatch players out there hyped up for the new game modes? Has anyone played on the new map or modes yet? Please tell us how it is so far by leaving your comments down below, or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
