With STAR WARS Battlefront II coming in a couple of months, EA has made the STAR WARS Battlefront Season Pass free — at least for a limited time. Not only do you get more maps, but there are extra heroes (and villains), new game modes, and extra galactic tech.

Expand your galaxy with the STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ Season Pass, featuring 4 expansion packs that include over 20 new pieces of galactic tech such as weapons, vehicles and Star Cards, 4 more iconic STAR WARS™ characters for you to play as, 16 additional maps and 4 exciting new modes.

The included expansion packs take you to four new locations in the STAR WARS universe:

  • “Outer Rim” — Fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine
  • “Bespin” — Join legendary smuggler Lando Calrissian and cold-blooded bounty hunter Dengar in the cloud city of Bespin
  • “Death Star” — Jump into space and dogfight among one of the most iconic locations in the STAR WARS universe
  • “Rogue One: Scarif” — Touch down from space onto the planet of Scarif and fight across the beaches and jungles.

With a current price of $19.99USD, the STAR WARS Battlefront Season Pass can be downloaded for free for PC, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One.

Have you been waiting to pick up the extra STAR WARS Battlefront DLC? Are you going to be playing through it now before the launch of STAR WARS Battlefront II in November? Do you already own the Season Pass and have played through the DLC content? If so, what did you think about it? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
