Listening to music while working out is something many people do. For the most part, you need a source to stream or listen to music from and a pair of headphones. Vinci 2.0 wants to break that tradition and claim to be the world’s first standalone AI sports headphones. Vinci 2.0 not only has onboard storage (8/16/32GB options) but they’re also 3G and Wi-Fi capable allowing you to leave your phone and just workout. It’s a great idea, especially for those who have a workout routine and do not need the extra bulk of a phone on their person.

Powered by AI, Vinci 2.0 is the first intelligent workout companion. It supports cellular and WiFi connectivity so you can leave your phone behind and stream music, take calls, keep track of your fitness performance, and more. For the first time ever, your headphones can be completely voice-controlled for a hands- and eyes-free experience. Vinci 2.0 also supports Amazon Alexa to further enhance your on-the-go lifestyle.

Vinci 2.0 looks like headphones but behaves like a smartphone. For the first time, your headphones are completely standalone. Vinci 2.0 combines your traditional headphones, smartphone, MP3 player, smartwatch and fitness wearable. Imagine using just one device for all your music, calls, notifications, and fitness needs. Vinci 2.0’s voice control interface lets you control all of these features with your voice, so you can enjoy a phone-free and hands-free workout.

Vinci 2.0 is a standalone computing device with a Quad-Core ARM Cortex A-7 processor and WiFi, 3G cellular(SIM card built-in), and Bluetooth connectivity. These features deliver an always connected, voice-controlled AI assistant. You can ask Vinci to make a call, send a text message, set a reminder, or give you directions. No phone is required so you can carry less and workout more.

These headphones certainly look interesting and the Kickstarter pledges start at $79USD. You’ll have to check out the Kickstarter to see all the breakdowns as there are a lot of options.
