Motorola introduces Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod

It’s been a couple months since we got a look at some new Moto Mods for Motorola’s Moto Z family of smartphones. Yesterday, the company unveiled the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod which lets you snap a photo with your Moto Z then print it out in an instant. Check it out in the short launch video below:

As with other Moto Mods, all you have to do is snap the Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod on your Moto Z, Moto Z Play, or Moto Z2 variant, take a picture with the onboard camera, and then print to the Moto Mod. The mod uses Polaroid Premium ZINK Zero-Ink Paper for 2×3″ smudge-proof photos, which also double as stickers with their adhesive back. Printing isn’t only limited from the photos you take on the Moto Mod either, you can also print your photos from Facebook, Instagram, or Google Photos.

The new Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod will be available at Verizon this week for $199.99USD and other markets globally in the coming months. Of course, it will be interesting to see how much ink refills and paper costs for the new Moto Mod, something that is always a concern with printers. The Moto Mod should be available for Canadians in Q1 of next year.

What do you think of the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod? Is it something you’ll be picking up for your Moto Z smartphone? Let us know in the comments below or on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
